Our Children's Ministry provides faith development opportunities for Pre-K through 5th Grade students and their families. We want to provide our children with as many opportunities as possible to grow in their faith while making new friends and meeting mentors who will accompany them along their life's journey.
Children's Worship
Children are an important part of our Sunday morning worship! During our 10:00am worship service, children are invited to come forward for the Children's Sermon, a special time for them to connect with our Bible story and pastoral staff. Following the Children's Sermon, kids are encouraged to join our Children's Coordinator, Annah, for Children's Worship where they have space to move, learn, pray, and laugh together. For children who would like to stay in the sanctuary with parents, we also have Worship Kits to guide them through the service.
FAM (Families Active in Ministry) Events
Families with Pre-K and Elementary aged children are invited to join us for monthly FAM (Families Active in Ministry) Events. These events are designed to let families spend time bonding and playing together, while also getting to form relationships with other families within the congregation. Whether we are having a Gingerbread Building Competition, enjoying a picnic, or heading to the trampoline park, we find ways to connect with God and each other! Walk of Faith
For students who want to be baptized, we have our Walk of Faith program. Walk of Faith is a mentor-based curriculum where children are paired with an adult of their choice to spend 10 weeks together reading through the New Testament, discussing Christian faith, and deciding to be baptized. Walk of Faith allows students to embark upon the journey towards baptism at their own pace while accompanied by a supportive adult who they can ask questions and offer reflections.
